ABOUT SEAN GUNNING

SEAN GUNNING is a Londoner from Irish stock. Author of No Samar- itan, he has won poetry contests in the U.S. and Canada and has been published in many anthologies and magazines in the U.S., Canada, and France. The Best Present Ever: A Sinner’s Guide to the Holy Land is his first novel-length work of literary non-fiction. His next book will be The Purple Pit, a romantic comedy, which he has just finished writing. He lives in Long Beach, California with his Mexican-American wife, who, after 34 years together, is still the funniest girl he’s ever met. They walk to mass together on Sundays.
