Rev. Joel Blunk is Associate Pastor at the State College Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania, where he led the Fellowship in Senior High (FISH) youth group  from 1994 to 2012.  Beginning in 2012, Joel launched a new outreach ministry known as the WheelHouse  (www.scpresby.org), which seeks to help people find that place where their “deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” Professionally,  Joel has enjoyed being an athlete, coach, singer/songwriter, pastor, and spiritual director. His focus is now devoted to men’s groups, rite of passage experiences for youth and young adults, helping older adults embrace the second half of life, and tending to the sacred threads that weave one’s soul.  He enjoys basketball, playing guitar, hiking with his wife Kristen, and playing disc golf with his three sons.  He is a graduate of Duke University and Vanderbilt Divinity School.  His music is available on iTunes.
