Deacon Jim Knipper is a Roman Catholic deacon serving the Diocese of Trenton, N.J. When not serving his faith community at St. Paul’s in Princeton, a principal of Clear Faith Publishing LLC.

In 1981, Jim graduated from the University of Scranton with a degree in Chemistry, and in 1984 he received a Master’s in Business in the Pharmaceutical Industry from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He also earned his Masters in Theology from Georgian Court University in May 2015 and was awarded an honorary degree from that same institution in May 2018.

He is a former member of the Board of Trustees for Georgian Court University, the only Catholic University in the Trenton Diocese, as well as a former member of the Board of Trustees for the University of Scranton, one of the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States. He currently sits on the Finance Council of the Diocese of Trenton as well as on the Board of Trustees for the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, in Washington D.C.

Deacon Jim lives with his wife, Teresa, in Marco Island, FL and Cape May, NJ. He is father of four sons and four grandchildren.
