Rev. Penny A. Nash serves as Associate Rector at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Richmond, Virginia, where she is primarily responsible for pastoral care and small groups ministry and serves as pastor to the evening community (Celtic Evensong and Eucharist, community supper, and sung Compline). After completing her priestly formation and M.Div. (with a Certificate in Anglican Studies) from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University, she was ordained in 2008 in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. Penny writes for various Forward Movement publications, contributed to a collection of essays called Letters to Me: Conversations with a Younger Self, and was one of the original Celebrity Bloggers in the annual Lent Madness online devotional (www.lentmadness.org). An amateur photographer, she posts daily prayers, reflections and visual meditations at “One Cannot Have Too Large a Party” (www.penelopepiscopal.blogspot.com) and is an avid user of social media to build community and spread the Gospel.
